I hope you’re having a great final week of your groups this week – I look forward to seeing pictures of the Pizza party York!
It doesn’t stop there though… its the Cobwebs Musical Picnic on Sunday, and the weather looks like it’ll be lovely! For those of you not playing, why not come along? Bring along some food, a picnic blanket and sit on the lawn listening to beautiful English music by Elgar, Delius, Vaughan-Williams, Holst, Lennon/McCartney and many others (there is cover in case of rain).
– It’s not too late to get tickets. Loads have gone, but it’s a big venue and we can squeeze in a few more.
Get your tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/a-musical-picnic-with-the-cobweb-orchestra-tickets-33244075926
– Bring folding chairs if you need them for your picnic!
– There will be no parking at the venue and street parking in the immediate vicinity is restricted and mainly permit holders only, but there is plenty of parking within a few minutes’ walk. Buses 1,10,11,38 serve the area. The nearest Metro is Central Station. This map should help with locating a car park. https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?ll=54.97042284173713%2C-1.6239925320160182&z=17&mid=1YG2d57s9CZlJPNxn3IB8LGdKYOA
Any questions, don’t hesitate to ask! I look forward to seeing many of you there.
