Event Cobweb Orchestra AGM
Venue Elvet Methodist Church Hall,
8 Old Elvet,

Description The AGM of the Cobwebs Orchestra and Beethovenís Fifth!
The first meeting of the new season will take place on Sat. September 16th
at Elvet Methodist Church Durham DH1 3HL from 11am Ė 4pm.

The AGM will take place during the lunch break at 1.30 and will be as brisk and concise as possible to allow maximum time to enjoy Beethovenís great 5th Symphony which is one of his most popular and well-known, but no less beautiful or challenging for all that.

If you have any motions or issues you wish to bring up at the meeting please notify the Chair, David Wood, or Secretary, Ruth Tanner, by 10th September, so it can be seamlessly folded into the proceedings.
There is also a vacancy for a new trustee as Andrew Cottrell will be retiring. If interested (and a member) please also contact DW or RT as above

There is restricted parking at the Church, which will be for basses, cellos, timps and those less able to walk, but over the road in Territorial Lane there is a University carpark open on Saturdays at a charge of a mere £2 for charity. You may prefer to use one of the Park and Ride carparks on the edge of the town at Sniperley Roundabout on the Lanchester Road, at Belmont (at the junction of the A1/A690), or at Howlands on the southern approach road.
There are kitchen facilities so we can enjoy a shared lunch. Cakes would be welcome so that we can celebrate the beginning of yet another exciting year! We hope also to run a raffle, but when bringing contributions please note that wine is not allowed on the premises.
