| Description | A huge variety of music, classical, romantic and modern, played by two wonderful local pianists, Stephanie Cant, whom we know well, and Janet Evans, whom we are getting to know. Stephanie will lead the Beethoven from the piano, as well as conducting her own piece, and Andy Jackson will conduct the Franck. To add to the festive mood of the occasion, Frank and Stella Robson have invited everyone playing that day to a buffet tea (between the rehearsal and the concert) in the Garden Bar of Darlington Arts Centre. Date; Saturday April 24th 2010 Time; 2pm – 6pm rehearsal 7.30pm concert Venue; Darlington Arts Centre Vane Terrace, Darlington DL3 7AX Cost; £12 for non-members of Cobwebs £9 for members of Cobwebs Repertoire; Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 3 (played and led from the piano by Stephanie Cant) Franck ‘Symphonic Variations’ (pianist, Janet Evans) Cant ‘After the Tide has Turned’ Parts; Parts for all the pieces will be available on the day.
