| Description | Trip to Dachau Information from Priscilla Crumrine The Cobwebs trip to Bavaria in 2008 was such a success that we have been invited back! Andrew Forsyth is taking a year off from organizing the Cobwebs international trips, and I have happily accepted to be the English half of the organizing team this year. Of course Antje Roser-Huckle, who lives in Dachau, is the German half of the team. We now have firm dates: Thursday 15th - Sunday 18th July 2010. If you are interested in coming please let me know as soon as possible. We need to know if enough people are interested to know if the trip could really be viable. Hopefully I will be able to report back soon with good news! The format will be similar to last time - a couple day's rehearsal, a concert at a church, and a Study Day in Dachau with local musicians. Of course there will also be time to enjoy the beer garden! We also have tentatively booked space at "Biohotel Hoerger" in the Bavarian Countryside outside Munich. The hotel is a fantastic mix of traditional bavarian tavern & beer garden, with a restaurant serving organic food, and a modern building of guest rooms. The best bit is there is rehearsal space there too, saving us the time & cost of bussing back and forth to a rehearsal venue.
