Venue Alston Town Hall

Description COME AND PLAY NEILSEN’S THIRD SYMPHONY WITH US
JUNE 20TH 2010, ALSTON TOWN HALL, ALSTON

Nielsen’s Third Symphony is the most popular symphonic work in his native Denmark. Noel Bertram, who conducts our Tebay group, is an enthusiast for Nielsen’s music and will lead a day devoted to exploring this impressive composition. Another challenge, and another new venue in which to expand our repertoire and to welcome new players (make a point of suggesting it to anybody who lives near Alston, or who might enjoy a day out in this beautiful part of the North Pennines).
