We have two residentials in beautiful settings each year.

This is your opportunity to play in a phenominally big orchestra and tackle a phenominally big work as well as looking at the lighter side of music in the Sunday Morning Supplement and kicking back with the obligatory cocktail party. In previous year's the orchestra has tackled Bruckner, Shostakovich, Saint Saens Organ Symphony, Respighi's Fountains of Rome and Smetana's Ma Vlast.
This year we'll be getting our fingers around Mahler's fabulous Fourth Symphony.

The Ridley Hall ‘DIY’ weekend is a mix of full orchestral sessions and chamber music sessions which you organise youself, all within the peaceful and comfortable surroundings of Ridley Hall. There are plenty of rooms for different size groups to play in and a good selection of music thanks to the many people who generously put their own music in the temporary library.
