The Billingham Group is a friendly bunch, welcoming players regardless of age or instrument. No audition is necessary and a range of music caters for different ability levels. Peter Gulbis is also passionate about bringing music to a wider audience and invites players from other groups to join in concerts at other venues, including Middlesbrough Town Hall.

The Billingham group appeared briefly in a short BBC Clip in 2016 to advertise how to ‘get playing’ in a ‘virtual orchestra’. Go to 00:36 to see if there’s anyone you recognise!

Weekly £6 for members, £8 for non-members, £3/£4 for students in full-time education, £3 for secondary school children (13-18 yrs)
